THE JOE FRANKLIN SHOW (My first appearance)
I was playing in a working wedding band when a friend of mine called me up and asked me to join a rock band. I knew it would be for less money but it would be much more fun. I said yes. The first gig was a bar called the Dug Out. Much to my surprise the bar was packed with a line of people outside waiting to pay admission.
It was a wild bar crowd with great energy. A drunk lady came up to me while I was playing and she put her hand in my pants pocket and left a crumble piece of paper with the phone number of THE JOE FRANKLIN SHOW and a message to call the show. It was difficult getting in touch with the show but finally I was in Joe Franklin's office which led me to 2 appearance on his WWOR CHANNEL 9 my first national TV show.
